Dr. Vishala Patel built Edge Dental Designs around a belief: advanced training should give patients more options, proven solutions, and greater confidence in their care.
A graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, she earned Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry—a distinction held by only about 6% of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada—and Associate Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a credential requiring 300+ hours of advanced implant education, with additional advanced training through the Kois Center.
Named a D Magazine Best Dentist in 2025 and 2026, Dr. Patel pairs that expertise with clear explanations, thoughtful recommendations, and care centered on your health, your smile, and your goals.
A University of Michigan graduate, Dr. Patel is dedicated to providing personalized, stress-free dental care with proven results. Her unique patient-first approach stems from experiencing dental care as a patient herself during training, helping her connect and empathize deeply with those she treats.
Dr. Patel is passionate about building real relationships, tailoring treatments to each patient’s needs, and using advanced technology for the best outcomes. Outside the office, she mentors women in dentistry and gives back to the community.
Proudly welcoming patients from McKinney, Frisco, Prosper, Celina, and surrounding communities.
